Why add a FFF horse to your herd?

Five Filly Farm takes pride in selectively adding breeding stock to our herd based on pedigree, quality, and exceptional trainability.  Our main goal is to create, nurture, and share the best qualities of the Friesian and Knabstrupper breeds.

It all started with two Friesian sport horses bred by the Amish in Kentucky. It was love at first ride. I found the smooth gaits, the tender affection, the intelligence, the talent, and all that hair to be irresistible. That began our journey into the world of Friesian horses.

In 2020 we imported Feije Van De Troostwijk (Fiji) from Kerkenveld Netherlands. This amazing stallion, over 17H tall, had proven himself in the Dressage arena internationally. Son of Jehannes 484 Sport AAA, an approved stallion with abundant breed expression, correct and long lined movement and a long list of career accomplishments in the ring and the breeding barn, including

Champion of Older Stallions in 2021. We are excited to offer Fiji for stud services for limited breedings at Five Filly Farm to make his mark in the US. His puppy dog personality, show ring vigor, and exceptional pedigree make him an excellent candidate for your mare. Visit our Stallion Page to learn more about breeding to this magnificent stallion.

Five Filly Farm also added two exceptionally bred Main Book Mares, Tahiti (Epke 474/Loke 371) and Ko Phi Phi Lee (Felle 422/Nanno 372) in 2022. Both mares were specifically selected for their temperament, movement, and confirmation. These unique qualities have made their offspring adaptable and intelligent. This makes them superior candidates for dressage, driving, western dressage, and so much more. Five Filly Farm will offer Main Book foals and Friesian crosses to create the ultimate riding and/or competition companion.

The Knabstrupper

In 2023, Five Filly Farm added a rare new breed to our program, the Knabstrupper. The Knabstrupper is a Danish Warmblood with style! Their spotted coats and exceptional movement make them an ideal Dressage, Jumper, or Eventing horse. Check out our Stallion page to learn more about the Knabstruppers at Five Filly Farm.
