Five Filly Farm started as a hobby and has grown to a family affair. Our Five girls, three dogs, and nine horses moved to Huntersville in 2023 to expand our passion and grow our herd.
We have enjoyed the luscious locks and beautiful dark coat of the Friesian breed for many years and now hope to increase the popularity of the amazing and versatile spotted Knabstrupper. The beautiful Knabstrupper, with their speckled coats, have been selectively bred for many years to excel in Jumping and Dressage. Their elegant gaits, eye catching color, and silly personality make them an excellent addition to the Five Filly Herd.
Both breeds are near and dear to our hearts. They embody all the characteristics quintessential to competition, pleasure, and companionship. Not only can our horses stun and outshine in the ring, they also steal our hearts in the barn. Each and every one has been hand selected for their soft and inquisitive nature.
Our five girls span a gap of 16 years. It always amazes me that our stallion, Fiji, can stoke the competitive fire in the ring and moments later give a tender kiss to our toddler. These breeds are truly amazing.
